SafePAS Brings SMAGRY to Polish Fields After Polsecure
Estonian deep-tech startup SafePAS is preparing for a busy April in Poland. According to the company’s schedule, it will present its portable Drug Hunter analyzer at the POLSECURE 2026 exhibition in Kielce (April 21–23). As noted in the SafePAS news section, the event is a key public safety forum supported by the Polish police and other law enforcement agencies, where “live demonstrations of Drug Hunter tailored to the needs of police, border guards, and fire services” are expected. However, SafePAS already has its next step planned: bringing its SMAGRY system directly to Polish farms and agronomic enterprises to introduce local specialists to field-based “laboratory-grade” soil analytics.

SMAGRY is a soil health management platform that combines portable analyzers with IoT sensors to precisely measure nutrient levels and pH. The company emphasizes that its cloud-based application tracks nutrient profiles and provides intelligent fertilization recommendations based on soil type and crop requirements. The core device, SMAGRY-nutrients, enables quantitative field analysis of ammonium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, nitrates, phosphates, iron, and other ions, delivering laboratory-level accuracy with low reagent consumption. It is complemented by the SMAGRY-SOMs probe, which monitors organic matter content, NPK levels, and electrical conductivity, helping assess soil structure, including protein compounds as well as humic and fulvic acids.
The platform includes several features that make it convenient for farmers and consultants: instant analysis directly in the field, mobile app access to data, reduced use of NPK fertilizers through precise measurement, improved yields through better understanding of soil conditions, and personalized recommendations for crop selection and cultivation methods. All data is stored in a secure cloud environment with advanced analytical capabilities. SafePAS also offers pilot programs, allowing early adopters to test new features and contribute to product development.
Following its presentations of Drug Hunter to law enforcement agencies at Polsecure, the company plans to move onto Polish fields with SMAGRY. This continues SafePAS’s dual-track approach to real-time science: the Drug Hunter analyzer provides accurate on-site drug saliva testing for security agencies, while the SMAGRY platform equips agronomists and farmers with tools for fast, evidence-based decisions on soil health. The company believes that real-time soil data will help Polish farmers make agriculture more sustainable, efficient, and data-driven.
